Wayne Dixon - RIP - Written by Dan Wade on 29/08/2019

For those that don't know, we regret to advise that Wayne Dixon recently passed away after a long but brave battle with cancer. The funeral will be held on Thursday 12th September at the Test Valley Crematorium Romsey at 1pm. No black clothes, even black ties to be worn, this is Waynes request, and no flower's. Many of you younger player’s/member’s won’t know Pat Allan but I know a few of our older members still keep updated on the website and unfortunately Pat has recently passed away. Pat Allan had a long involvement with Millbrook Rugby Football Club. As a local councillor for many years in the Redbridge area he was also a Governor of Millbrook School - from where the club grew. The Club Dinner is on Friday 11th May. Get it in your diaries, get your tickets sorted and be there to celebrate the season in style with all the family at the club! For those of you who pay your membership annually (£300 at the start of the season), your ticket costs just £10! All other members, your ticket costs just £25. Our legendary hospitality knows no bounds!! We have been approached by Enfield Ignatians to host their touring side on 31st March. They are currently playing in London NW 2 and will be represented by a selection of players spanning their four teams, so we need to beat the drums and get as many people present on this day as we can, whether it be to represent on the pitch or represent in the bar.
