Millbrook's On Loan Players Make Good Down Under - Written by Dan Wade on 17/06/2014

Earlier in the season, Millbrook had arranged for 2 of their brightest stars to sign on loan with an Australian side called Milton Platypi. Since starting playing for the "Platypi", Jordie Coffin and Mike Phippard have had a huge impact, both on and off the field. So much so in fact, that both players have been selected to represent South Coast Zone, along with 24 other players in the region. Our local rugby union team, Milton Platypi, form part of the South Coast of NSW competition. There ar......Cont to article

If you currently hold a post in the club but DO NOT want to stand next year, please speak to Jackie Ings. Remember, the club needs everyone's input to make it work, not just the usual faces.......Cont to article

James 'Bungle' Walters - Farnborough RUFC - Written by Dan Wade on 01/05/2014

It is with regret that we heard the news today of James "Bungle" Walters passing. James was part of the crew who died tragically in the Lynx helicopter crash on Saturday 26th April in Afghanistan. He played for Farnborough rugby club, who we have met many times on the field and in the bar. As a member of our country's Armed Forces, he will forever have our respect and gratitude. He leaves behind a wife and young daughter. Our thoughts from all here at Millbrook are with his family and with Far......Cont to article

Kind Words From a Gracious Opponent - Written by Dan Wade on 17/11/2013

After the fantastic RFU Junior Vase match yesterday with Sussex 1 side Pulborough, Head Coach Ian Neil received a very kind and welcomed message from Pulborough Chairman Alex Steele: I thought your guys played some very good rugby – basic things done well, skill levels good, passing accurate (links between the fat boys and the backs really impressive), straight hard running, solid defence and your golden booted 10 was a class act too. I had to leave relatively early so apologies for not......Cont to article
