"Top" effort by both teams...... - Written by Mark Randell on 18/01/2016

Two strong performances on Saturday means that both teams proudly sit in "top spot" in their respective leagues which is great news for the club. The 1's put in a solid performance beating a strong Bognor team who probably had more of the possession of the ball over the 80 minutes but could not find a way through the "brick wall" defence on show from every player from number 1 to 18 in the squad on the day. Scoring all the 13 points in the first half, a couple of tries were left out on the pit......Cont to article

Massive Weekend Ahead!..... - Written by Mark Randell on 13/01/2016

With both the 1st & 2nd XV sitting 2nd in their repective leagues, both teams have the opportunity of moving into top spot if their results go the right way. The 1st XV entertain Bognor and will be looking to avenge the 36-20 loss at their place in October.  Boasting a Played 10, Won 9, Lost 1 record, Bognor have had a very strong season scoring 335 points and conceading only 114 points for a plus 221 points difference. Recruiting well over the summer with players re-joining the club af......Cont to article

Join the Fun Bus To Chipstead On Saturday 6th Feb!......... - Written by Mark Randell on 13/01/2016

On the 6th February the 1st XV will be travelling to Chipstead in the next round of the RFU Junior Vase. It should be a great game and the lads "owe them one" after being knocked out by Chipstead in the same competition last season! We will be taking a coach to the game and would love as many people possible to come along and support the lads on the next stage of the "cup run" which could end up with a final at Twickenham when we go all the way! The cost will be £10 per person for suppo......Cont to article

A solid start to 2016 - Written by Mark Randell on 03/01/2016

The 1st XV put in a good performance at Redbridge Lane securing 5 important league points with a convincing 57-0 win, scoring 9 tries in the process taking our average to over 40 points a game for the 1st half of the season. With all the rain around, the game was seriously "under threat" at 10am but an outstanding effort by all involved for a couple of hours ensured that the game kicked off at 2pm without an issue. Thanks to everyone involved. A strong 1st half with excellent lines of running ......Cont to article

Club Christmas Message   On behalf of Millbrook Rugby Club we wish you and your families health, happiness, peace and prosperity this holiday season and in the coming year. 2015 has been a momentous year for this club. Back in April, the 1st XV finished 2nd in Hampshire Division One securing a 'play-off' game away to a very strong Camberley side who had come 2nd in Surrey Division One. Although unsuccessful on the day, everyone who attended the fixture witnessed the level of play and co......Cont to article

A Christmas cracker of a Saturday..... - Written by Mark Randell on 22/12/2015

With Christmas now only 2 more sleeps away and having just about recovered from the extended festivities on Saturday evening, I am now able to bring you up to date with the results from the three games played by the senior teams. The 1st XV put in a strong team performance against Ellingham & Ringwood at home securing a 5 point bonus win and although Santa had a few names on his naughty list due to penalty count, this has now all been forgotten and the big man will be paying every playe......Cont to article

Will Saturday be full of festive cheer?...... - Written by Mark Randell on 14/12/2015

The 1st XV will be looking to end 2015 on a 'high' and get back to winning ways after a narrow defeat away to Sandown & Shanklin last Saturday going down 27-22 but very importantly securing a very important bonus point.  Ellingham & Ringwood will be our visitors who I know will 'put up a fight' and not make the fixture easy for us. The lads know that they will have to turn up ready for the challenge and will be working hard in training on Tuesday and Thursday to tighten u......Cont to article
